Call me a financial nerd; I love numbers. As a kid I was a straight A student and read the Business section of the San Jose Mercury News, leading naturally to a B.A. in Economics at U.C. Berkeley.
After working at a local accounting firm for a couple of years preparing taxes and performing audits, I got my CPA and IRS Enrolled Agent licenses. Since 2001, I’ve spent my days working on nearly all areas of taxation from individuals to non-profits to major corporations. Later in my career, I spent my nights studying Taxation in the Master’s program at San Jose State University.
After being a W-2 earner for 12 years, I realized that my lifelong dream wasn’t to be an employee and that I was an entrepreneur at heart who is passionate about helping my clients lower their taxes and developing a road map to achieve their financial goals. (It doesn’t hurt that my father has run his own accounting firm since I was 12.)
Do you have an experienced CPA that does more than just “prepare” your taxes? I specialize in helping engineers, real estate investors, and business owners who are frustrated with paying high taxes. Let me show you how to get additional tax deductions.
